Not exactly sure, but I think it's a great move. We are pretty deep at DE and this will help with the depth at DT in 2019.

Been there throughout fall practice I believe. We need depth at DT and he had fallen behind Rudolph and Foster at DE.

a few weeks ago- they moved him there earlier in camp. They have tremendous depth at DE and felt he was the only one with body to go inside. It may not be forever but at least for this season and if it works then would help with 2019 depth and playing time for him given the DE crowd. My guess is they've already switched gears with him and instead of trying to get his weight to 25-265 they are now pushing for 285. That said, we've had some guys in the not so distance past that have played just fine in the 270-275 range.

^hmm, must have missed reading that part. I didn't know that either.

Pretty cool...hope he'll do okay there at 270. Seems a bit light for the spot, but you never know.
