Saying..as Smart as DaBo & coaches are, can they overcome these differences “year to year” (1 subpar class so far for 2019..as well as Bama having 6 of 8 last #1 classes) and still put out a contending National Championship team.

they recruited some 3 stars well over a yr ago. I dont think they would do that if they didnt think very highly of them

Not worried at all!
If you keep up with the top recruits year in and year out; you would know, many 4 and 5 rated guys barely even play at a school. Many have gone to a school only to sit the bench for 4 years or maybe they play some their final year behind some 3 star talent "nobody knew about"!
Not an uncommon story in college football and one Tigers coaches have excelled at.
Tom Osborne while at Nebraska - lived off the walk on!
And BTW, he is the coach of what many consider the most dominant team in college football history! I think he went on to be a Governor or senator. So, let alone some 3 star talent that may have been overlooked. This man has won it all w/o all 5 star players so has Dabo Swinney and company.
Should make the doubters go: "hmmmm"!
