Why wouldn't Bowman play the season

My only question. If you were transferring for any reason other than homesick, I think he would've played out the season here. With the portal you can go at any time. For this reason I believe it to be a homesick issue. I hate this I might add. Sorry but 5 star backs that fit at Clemson are rare. We develop most of rb stars. I think this kid is ready made. He will star whereever he goes.

the financial assistance/scholarship is suspended so that may have played a role.

A lot of people are not mentally ok right now. He may be miserable and need to go home. I am disappointed but, wish him the best.
