No scholarship, small guy and great performance though out career especially in playoffs and championships against all big bad teams in pressure situations, he delivered.

We put him on scholarship almost immediately. Maybe he wasn’t considered a walk on after that.

good enough to get a scholarship....Reminds me of when my daughter tried out for show chorus, after having won the talent competition in several pageants, and the director of the chorus told me she did not select her BECAUSE SHE SANG TOO GOOD, SHE HAS A SOLO VOICE. And folks, that is the gospel truth.

Why would anyone TD this post? Just disagree, or own up to it. Gutless or a coot.

I have to respectfully disagree that he should be considered a scholarship player. How many times dd we hear he was a walk-on. Not just here, but in the national media.

He was not offered a scholarship during his recruitment. He isn't the 1st nor the last walk-on to earn a scholarship. He was an invited Walk-On. Plain a simple.

I don't think it has anything to do with their not considering him a walkon; his team probably accomplished more during his playing time than any walkon, and you could argue that he was as critical to his team's success as any walkon, but there have been some who have greater individual accomplishments
