Why the long wait to offer Simpson?

Was Flowe really so good it was worth a 5* miss to wait on him? Were grades an issue?

We offered flowe and must have told him we would hold

the offer for him, I assume that BV went out there and came back knowing that Flowe wasn't coming so we offered the next in line.

I don't get the wait either...as highly rated as he was you'd think he'd be a take no matter what.

Whatever the case, I'm glad he's a Tiger. I'll bet he's gonna be a good one too.

We are in a position that we don't have to take every five star. Our coaches know how many at each position they can take, so Dabo allows them to pick and choose. We were not going to take both and Flowe was #1 on the list until we knew he wasn't coming.

His grades are great, he’s an insane talent on the field and a well thought of kid off the field. Great parents, dad is an army vet, pretty much a perfect fit for our program.

We didn’t offer sooner because we only recruit the number of spots we have available, 3 in this case. Two spots were taken and the last was offered to Flowe, while Simpson was committed to auburn at the time.
