I think a personal friend of mine put it best on his Twitter:
"I've got 4 combat tours, which is 4 more than you do. They can take a knee if they want, which was the whole ####### point of those 4 tours."
Granted, he's a Sooner, and granted he's wearing his sleeve on his sleeve ATF, which most of us won't do, but salute to him for explaining this in very simple terms, which I think some people need.

I agree, and there need to be more active duty and veterans with this mindset. Too many that I see are the ones who think every American should worship the flag.
