Why didn't Marcus Lattimore come to Clemson?

I know we were the first to offer. I know Slurrier danced for the commitment. What was Lattimore talking about we he said he was being told the truth? I assume by Clemson. What was the deal? Thanks I'll listen off air.

No real reason. Unlike clowney there wasn't an academic concern. HE Just didn't want to come to Clemson even though 4-5 of his teammates did.

academic concern because he might not get in anywhere (NCAA standard). Clemson and SC are equal on standards for a football's academic requirements.

As a senior in high school, she averaged 20 points and 6 rebounds per game and was named a Street and Smith Honorable Mention All-American.
I don't know what kind of student Lattimore's sister was but I do know that it was only after Lattimore signed to play football at $CU that they gave his sister a full academic scholarhip.

Churches catered his recruiting trip and his mom really enjoyed it. She said it was a closer drive and Clemsons mascot scared her but she liked the Chicken.
It was really simple, she didn't know they were going to run her boy so much he was to hurt to go to the Pros. Talk about if we could go back we would all change our decisions. As the years go by and his knees hurt bad when he walks he is going to through the "what ifs" we all go through. He likes Orange better than the coots that run his future into the ground. It really is sad that a bucket changed his future. I'm sure he will tell all the young folks that make a decision when Mama's hungry is not wise.
It breaks my heart knowing he would be in the Pros right now " if only" ( we have all had a, if only) Churches had not been so good. I breaks my heart know Spurhead did this to Marcus. (He was a great guy until)
Stevo- let us run him up the middle, around the end and on third down and six, he gives it to Marcus. This abuse was real.
