as our 2018 (Jan 2019) D..especially on the line, LB'ers & DB's.

Article described Tiger D as quick & muscular..and terrorized the Cornhuskers..

and Pics of William Devane, Jeff Davis & Wrecking Crew show the effort.

Also, Clemson got off to a great start, as the 2018 Team did with Pick 6, by causing the Nebraska RB to fumble on the 3rd play and minutes later Igwebuike got us 3 points.

And, Pics of Perry Tuttle going up high for passes & the endzone TD shown on SI cover prove his jumping ability to equal most of our WR'ers today..imho.

Oh..Bama with The Bear as HC lost 14-12 to Texas in Cotton Bowl and ironic 6 states did not get reception of the last 20 seconds when Tide went down the field & missed a FG to win! Bryant died at age 70 in 1983. Frank Howard stated Paul Bryant was obsessed with his Alabama record which sapped his strength in latter years of coaching.

He died 1month after breaking the all-time career coaching record after 38 years.

Best D the program has ever had IMO. Devane, Fridge, Bryant, Davis, Kinard. Ruthless defense.
