When watching LSU

I see them trying to replicate the short slant offense with 1 guy always sprinting downfield that Alabama ran last year. Except unlike Alabama Tua is better than Burrow and they had a stable of running backs fronted by the best OL in Saban's career quite possibly and the most explosive WRs in CFB. LSU has gotten away with their receivers being more athletic than any defense they've played all year but when they face a more athletic defense (can't even say Alabama this year with how they've played) I don't think they'll look like world beaters. They've given up loads of points to mediocre offenses consistently this year, Texas, Vandy, UF, and even Auburn who has possibly the worst qb in the SEC put up 20 points on them. I think they lose to Clemson, and OSU 9/10.

Thank you. I know they beat Auburn and I'm not saying that's a bad thing at all but they looked completely pedestrian. Auburn is good, not great. It was at home. They have (according to the media) the best O in college football. And they could not score. Good thing for them is the Bama D they face next week looks to have taken a step back or they might be looking at a similar situation to the last time they played Alabama. Anyone remember how many points they scored?

Reminds of the Smashmouth song! And they're so prophetic and self-aware, too!

Auburn slowed down the LSU offense better than I expected

I figured LSU could score 35 on them.
Our 3-3-5 stack / 3-2-6 with the blitzing will kill Burrow. I had LSU beating Bama in a shootout but I’m not so sure anymore. It’s a toss up in my mind with an edge to Bama because of coaching.

Auburn's defense is pretty dang good

and LSU still put up over 500+ yds on them. LSU just didn't execute well at times and had 2 drives end on downs...one inside the 5. Credit Auburn's defense but it seemed to me that LSU dominated the game but struggled to put it away. We have been in the position before as well.
If Tua plays, Bama wins. Without Tua, its hard to think they beat LSU.

They moved the ball but we killed them with our red zone defense.

Auburns offense is awful and put up 300 on LSU at LSU. Imagine if Auburn would've moved the ball consistently and not given LSU solid field position every set of downs.

Cant give Satban two weeks to prepare for a semi NFL type(not fully NFL like) offense and his team not come out on top or at least have a scheme that shuts it down for most of the game.

LSU had a lot of dink and dunk short passes and got yards after catch. Shut that down and they are average. JMO
