Not that it matters. He’s the same player today as he was a month ago.

Just curious as to how the promotion occurred.

He was a 5* when he was favored still to Clemson. Kid is a stud and most Clemson commits don’t continue camping after they commit so they tend to slightly drop as they are not seen as much.

Rivals and 247 did their re rank last week. He’s a stud and worthy of a 5* as of right now. Rankings will continue to move a lot as camps start happening and kids start playing again. Cade Klubnik will more than likely wind up a 5* as time goes he absolutely dominated in Texas HS playoffs even beating #1 overall in 2022 QB Quinn Ewers and out played him too.

He was bumped up on 24/7 this week, when the crystal balls started changing towards Alabama!He jumped up 20 or so spots this week! For what it’s worth, so did Kublick!

This same thing happened with Hunter Johnson

He was a consensus 4 star - all the services had him as 4 star. But the 247 composite made him a 5 star since there are only a few 5 star slots and the recruiting services in many cases have players ranked in various ranges. So a player that is a 5 star for one service may be ranked much lower with the other services and don't end up a composite 5 star.
