Apologies. I know this general topic has been way overdone, but I have a question that I cannot for the life of me understand. Perhaps someone can explain it - what is the upside of KB leaving the team? Presumably he is still in school. So why not just ask to be the emergency qb? He could keep practicing (and improving), show to all how much a team guy he is, and be a part of whatever special occurs this year? Quitting, I guess, would allow him to stop going to school, but he is already a month in. Does he think he can improve more training on his own.
If for some reason the team is put into a position that it needs the emergency qb and he plays he loses his final year of eligibility . If we need him to play and he refuses in order to save his eligibility he will look even worse in the eyes of all parties. Best to just to move on.
