where the Saluda River Grill is. Can't be though or he'd have been sucked down the ### there after the 30 minute monsoon that came through last night.

I have a fear of catching the big one and being too stubborn to let the rod go and instead be yanked off the boat and into the water and ending up being stuffed and mounted on some striper's shoal in Clarks Hill

You using the kyak today? Don't know squat about catching small mouths, but sitting in the eddy water and fishing the current looks to be fun!!! Congrats on a good afternoon!!! And thanks for the camera work!!!

Eating them K-too? I'm guessing Ole Spud is a catch and release type of guy . . . for bass anyway . . . Seems I remember a catfish event he shared and possibly the trout from the Wando may be kept as his "fish fare" . . . just guessing

Who knows, I don’t fish but We used to have fish frys and oyster roast all the time at work... and they’d tell me it was small mouth but it probably was wall-eye or crappie for all I knew. Whatever they were 30 years ago it was good eating.

I should have said, I don’t fish but I appreciate the sport and realize it’s not easy doing what Spud does as I understand it.

Spud comes across as a true bass aficionados and would rather release them to be enjoyed another day.

Didn't mean to imply they are not tasty . . . Quite the opposite!!!
