couple of 2 and a halfs and lost a solid 5 that blew up a spook and went 2 feet out to of the water. But, the highlight of the day was when I had just told Furious George who went with me, that I had just made the worst cast I had seen in at least ten years. However, less than 3 minutes later, Ole Spud said to Furious,"I STAND CORRECTED!!". "Thank you Furious for taking me off the hook".....Boys, I wish I had a video to go with it. But I swear on Alabama's latest excuse that this is the truth. Less than 3 minues after Ole Spud had made on of the worst casts of my life, Furious tossed a spook that hit the top of a tree out in the water, and wrapped around that sucker like a tether ball on a pole...A FULL 10 FEET Out of the water. I immediatedly said,"Partner, I want to thank you for taking me off the hook"

Luckily for Furious, my net extended to about 10 and a half feet and with him on his toes he was able to retrieve his Zara Spook....It was indeed the highlight of my trip.

Dang Spud, a pic of that would have been so entertaining no one would have complained about it being sideways or upside down. Keep 'em coming !!!!

Did nobody tell Spud that he can just catch a SMALL fish, and hold it close to the camera to make it look HUGE? I thought all fishermen do that. :)
