I didn't think those trout would make good sashimi, but my friend caught a few and made some. Amazing!

Nice speck!
About 1972, my wife's uncle took me to Harker's Island, NC to "show me" how to fish for speckled trout, which I had never done. On my first cast with a sting ray grub, I caught a 9lb/29" speck. Not many folks in Harker's Island would speak to me after that.....
