It wasn't raining for that game, was it?
But the line I like best from your link was by Christian. "I'm a threat," said Wilkins, who is from nearby Framingham, Massachusetts. "I'm in the scouting report."

That station isn't reflective of the actual Chestnut Hill conditions that night in November of 2018. I was at that game and it was around 32 at kickoff and dropped further as the game went on. Trevor has definitely played in this type weather.

The cold temperatures could affect the game. Even against an opponent you should dominate a few untimely turnovers could level the field. Ball security is always important and it certainly will be Saturday. I hope ETN is in high gear and the big guys up front come to play. Trevor’s ability to run the ball may be big in this game.

Yes they will play in the same weather but that doesn’t mean that the Tigers could have an untimely turnover and VPI wouldn’t . The weather could, and likely will, affect the game. As for me, I’d rather it be a noon game and hopefully be a cleaner played game by both squads.

can tell you I played in games in the mid/low 20's in November. After about 6 plays I would be sweating like a madman. I played nose guard on defense, and I was wrestling with the opponents Center and Guards every play.
The only areas that saw cold weather interfere, and that was receivers. That is different today with the receivers now wearing gloves.

agreed about a noon start, especially given the weather.50-50 for the turnovers,so it'll just be the luck of the draw for benefits.

Bad weather advantages the less talented team because it's more likely turnovers will occur.
Sure, they could have the turnovers but they were going to lose anyway.
If we have the turnovers and a few bad calls, and a pick 6 fumble, anything can happen.

50 degrees and raining - to me that is just the normal game against the coots. It rains or rains TDs... often both

Forecast for Saturday evening is 28 degrees and 10 mph winds. It’s rather cool up here in the mountains. Hope the receivers and QBs have heated mittens!

Shoot, I was looking at Friday.
In any case, still it will not be 28 degrees - or that cold yet. Looks to be in the mid 30s and the rain will have ended. Winds will be picking up. Blacksburg is still a southern-exposure side of the hill with the stadium facing south so it will retain heat for a little while. Bleaksburg will be bleak.

after being drafted by them said he wasn’t worried about it. He had played at Clemson for four years. I guess him being from Florida, he thought Clemson was up north.
