it should go down in Clemson Lore as one of the most important receptions of CUFB History. There was a "C" on Leggett's jersey that year for a reason. When we needed a big play (3rd down, 4th down, or especially near the Goal Line) he was there.

difficult catch to make but also was crucial in that drive. Was big-time for sure.

Yep and don't forget William's catch to get us in field goal range. I'm obviously glad about that Leggett catch but I wonder how the play calling would of been different if he didn't. Would we have played it to get as close as possible to give Huegal an easy FG try or would we have gone all out to get the TD so we wouldn't have to go into OT. Would love to hear Dabo talk about that situation if Leggett didn't make the catch

Sports Science even broke down how hard of a catch that was to make. Add that to how important it was, and you've got a play for the history books.
