Prior to this comment on April 11, after beating Charleston Southern, the baseball team was 29-5 / 13-2 with the most wins of any team in the country and in the ACC and had won every series in the ACC. Since that comment the baseball team is 9-12 / 3-11 and has only won one ACC series. I wonder if there is a relationship there? I understand the competition has been harder but how many times do you think that has been repeated in the opposing locker room/dug out in the past month?

I could see it when we were up late against Louisville them saying something like "ok boys, let's go out and eat some candy and show em". Probably more so after the fact.

It's not that. We just need some pitching. Pitching and defense wins championships. Exactly what we need.

Badb said it good. Got decent starters 1-6 hole but no closer consistent.

The bullpen or lack thereof is the main reason for our recent swoon. No one appears to be able to hold on to the lead.
