Way to make games go faster..

No commercial breaks. At the end of each qtr, allow 3 minutes for commercials. Halftime, all commercials. No cometary at all, including recap of first half. At end of game, 10 minutes of commercials. That would work for me. If, there is an injury, then do a commercial.

Giant blocks for commercials every quarter just means breaks away from the TV or on a different channel. With the way commericals are set up now it's not enough time to do anything else, hence a captive audience they can sell a product to.

You're not watching right. Tune into the game, hit pause and go do something else for an hour. Fast forward through breaks. I have DTV and during a pro game one click forward is usually about right for the time between plays as well. Colleges usually snap to quickly for this last trick but nothing is perfect.

They need to start doing like basketball-- first deadball after 12 minutes left in quarter, after 8 minutes left in quarter, and after 4 minutes left in quarter. Unfortunately, all they will do is something to "take away" from football, rather than take away from advertising.
