never once have I ever heard him say anything even remotely as stupid as the many things I've heard Toad Ellis say.
Toad has his head so far up his own a$$ that he has to look through his navel in order to see where he's walking.

All I need to know is his QB stats (over 4 years):
747 Completions / 1350 Pass Attempts = 55.3%
49 Touchdowns
73 Interceptions
His play-by-play and commentary is as bad as his quarterbacking.

Keeping in mind that both of them are lower tier announcers who'd probably not get an offer to do the same job at anywhere other than where they're currently working , Munson at a minimum keeps it impartial whereas Ellis can't quit tripping over his self to make pro-Coot quips and try to upgrade their perception by making unrealistic comparisons to other programs with better records and or histories . He does this at least twice a broadcast .
Munson has a bad public speaking voice , that's an opinion but one that I won't budge on ... but Ellis's demonizing of Clemson at every apparent opportunity and his woeful past as a two-bit criminal make this an easy choice for me .

Have any of you guys even read the thread? It’s not about comparing Ellis and Munson as announcers. It concerns a tragic auto accident Don was involved in in which a man lost his life. Their accusations are beyond sickening.

I saw that - completely idiotic. And ironically enough, the guy that was killed (“Happy Jack”) was an old neighbor of mine when I was a teenager. I had no idea this happened or that he was dead until a few minutes ago, when I read that post. Downtown Piedmont, he lived across the street from me. He was a complete 5hit-5how and the cops were constantly at his parent’s (he lived with them) house. I lived across the street from him for 3-4 years and never remember him sober, he was always fighting, stumbling around, screaming or pi55ing in the street. His claim to fame is during the old Piedmont spring festival, he’d often jump off the Hwy 86 bridge into the river, then immediately get hauled away.
Based on my first-hand account of living across from the guy for several years, I have zero doubt he was wasted and fell into traffic. It happened numerous times to him and was only a matter of time until something tragic happened. I feel terrible for Don Munson, or anyone that would accidentally kill someone through no fault of their own. And the fact that they would cast blame like that is honestly surprising to me. I can only hope that he’s in the minority.

...Tommy Suggs are both like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard. They are at the local yokel high school level in intelligence and content and is where they belong...if that. Extremely difficult to listen to.
I'm neutral to Don as I rarely listen to the radio broadcast anymore. He's a serviceable guy, I thought Pete Yannity was as well. None have yet to really replace the irreplaceable, Jim Phillips.
