Tennessee Tech is known as a power-hitting team. And, they got their hits last night.
Jackson Lindley did an outstanding job keeping their lineup and home-run hitters in check - just one mistake with no one on base. The Tiger defense did their part, too.
We all got a little frustrated when the Tigers had the bases loaded with no out but couldn't plate a run. But, they bounced back with a 3 up, 3 down top of the 9th to close out the game. Kudos to Spiers for his tenth save this season.
Crowd was lighter last night, as can be expected, but we enjoyed the win with the team.
Now, let's use this win to boost our confidence as we go to swat those 'jackets.
"When I was young, I was sure of many things; now there are only two things of which I am sure: one is, that I am a miserable sinner; and the other, that Christ is an all-sufficient Saviour. He is well-taught who learns these two lessons." -John Newton
