The next time the coots ask you when did we ever beat them five times in a row in football, simply remind them that the record for most wins in a row is held by Clemson. Clemson defeated them 7 years in a row from 1934 through 1940. And all of those wins took place on their home field.

If any coots are bringing up the 5 bomb at this point, they're just asking for it. Most of the coots I'm around stopped with that after our 3rd straight win because they knew thier ruthless bragging during those years were about to be karmically returned tenfold.

You can’t count those years as multiple 4 game win streaks. It’s just a 7 game win streak. 100 game win streak isn’t 25 4 game win streaks

Just think of what the streak could have been if the 2001 and 2006 game had gone the other way, which they easily could have.

Wasn't there something weird about the chain measurement too? I was in the stands, but I remember our defensive players celebrating after they did the measurement with the chains, which would indicate that they saw the ball short of the chains.

Ahhh Ha, I missed that, and that's only bc I usually quote that streak as 10 out 12 beat downs!!! It won't matter who is looking at the Clemson-Gamecock football rivalry record that began in 1896, and regardless of what side of the line the viewer is looking from, if you are a Clemson Tiger, a South Carolina Gamecock/coot, or a neutral viewer. The rivalry record speaks for it's self, and it clearly reads that the Clemson Tigers has dominated the Gamecocks for 122 years.

that theirs was quite lucky. They were at the height of their program, with a few lucky recruiting pickups, and either team could have won most of those games.
Now we go into the season expecting another 14+ point win and the coots are screaming for mercy as they don't see the end in sight. Now the fat lady hasn't sung yet but I like our odds. Honestly I would be shocked if it doesn't get stretched to at least 7 games.

With just what we have recruited up to date, there is a 7 win stretch right there. It maybe a very long time before they win another FB game against us. If Mustcan't couldn't win at Florida with basically the same SEC schedule, and with some of the best in state recruits in the country, what makes them believe he can win from coot U, one of the hardest schools in the SEC to recruit from!!!

My favorite stat is we have more wins at WB stadium from Oct 26, 1997 to September 1, 2000. We had 2 wins in WB and they had 1 win against Ball State in their home stadium!
