It was a long long day. Pushed for 3 hours and ended up having to do a sea section. He is 8lbs and 20 inches. Pics to come soon!! Thank you all for your prayers and wishes!!!

It means light of The Lord. The name is also in the Bible but a very small part. Urijah Faber is my favorite mma fighter that is where I heard it and the momma liked it alot when I mentioned it!

Congratulations on your new blessing. I hope both mom and child are doing well. I'm sure you are and should be very proud.
On children, I would only offer this, as a man who has had to spell his name to any and everybody I've met, signed up for, filled in, applied to or spoken to.... you might reconsider the name. I mean no disrespect but I've lived with 'and how do you spell that?' for 61 years. It really, really is a pain from the 1st grade through the rest of your life.

I wasnt but when I went to see him for the first time he was on the other side of the little wall they had up and when I was walking back I glanced over and couldn't help but see!! I did not watch tho!! I didn't really want to look but couldn't help it. It wasnt as bad as I thought I was just so thrilled my son was alive and healthy.

did your dr warn you of the drawbacks to C sections?
My wife had a c section on our 1st child. Similar situation as you. Baby was late, inducing didnt work. Then on 2nd child..the dr said cause she had c section the first time she should do it this time. Then on the 3rd child they said she didnt have a choice, it would have to be a c section because her uterus was scared from doing 2 c sections.. After the 3rd they said she shouldnt have anymore kids because all the c sections she had.

it C BIRTH ..... Momma's tend to feel like maybe they did something wrong or they weren't good enough to do it the old fashioned way. Crazy, I know .... ( but we knew that already, right ?)
So call it C birth and it makes it seem a little more personal for the momma. Just my experience.
And the healing time is really tough on the momma - my guy said it is classified as major abdominal surgery. They cut through everything to get there.
OK - enough doom & gloom !!! AMAZING !!!! CONGRATS !!!!
Mine is now a young lady that is amazing in every way. Enjoy every moment. It will pass you by in a heart beat !!!

Thank you!! She knows she did the right thing. It ended up after pushing the cord was around his neck so I'm glad we stopped trying and went ahead with the c birth! She wanted to do it she just wanted him safe and all worked out!!!!!

Absolutely did the right thing. It will take her a little longer to heal but she will be good to go. And there is nothing saying the next time y'all decide to have a brother or sister that any of these problems will happen. The first one is always the toughest. Give her a good pillow to hold onto for when she laughs or coughs. Congratulations you will be a great father
