Uncanny how bad the ACC is

Wasn’t long ago the ACC Atlantic was one of the best divisions in major college football. As for the Coastal.... same crap different day. Every school in the ACC not named Clemson should be utterly embarrassed with the product they put on the field.
Go Tigers... no letdowns.

figure what happened but UL and FSU happening at the same time is not good. Bama, OSU, OU and the 2/3 SEC teams may get the nod over is w 1 loss to our 0 depending on how things shake out. ACC made a sting case for #2 conf last 3 years and that helped us. The shoe will be on the other foot now. Battling PAC12 for 4th/5th and honestly they may be better also this year.

Sorry but I'm not convinced we don't have a mulligan. Its FAR too early in the season to call that. If we win the ACC we will likely be in.
Hard to figure what happened to FSU and UL? FSU hasn't been that great despite their talent, they have no OL, and are changing systems.
UL has relied solely on Lamar for the last 3 years and he's gone, that's what happened to them.
Pretty simple really. FSU CAN and SHOULD be better but Louisville was always going to be terrible this year.

State has excellent offense, mediocre defense. Not a bad squad by any measure.

Yeah, that 24-13 win over James Madison that was still 17-13 until 1 minute left in the game was very impressive and did a great job to show what a great offense NC State has.

Like the guys on Gameday, I thought Wake would give ND a decent game. And BC is getting hammered by winless Purdue. And I thought BC was probably the second best team in the Atlantic.

ND is playing a new QB is he seems to be doing much better. Winbush was always an IFFY QB so they might actually be a top 10 team now.

I don’t think it’s the losing that’s embarrassing, but getting hammered at home by 30 a week after Vandy only lost by 5 on the road to ND that is.
