Well at least the coots can say they are ranked higher than Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. It just means more.

USA today has lost their freaking minds moving LSU to number 2 after they gave up 38 points to Vandy...Vandy! Lsu has turned into Oklahoma East. You can't move a team up after giving up 38 to Vandy. Vandy is 0-3 and even Purdue only gave up 24 to them and won by 18 points. Vandy is even worse than Tennessee, and that is hard to do. Purdue scored 42 points on Vandy, so LSU scoring 66 is not that impressive. Know this, LSU gave up 8 more points to Vandy than UGA, and Purdue combined. If they give up 38 to Vandy, Bama or Clemson might hang 70 on them.

Simply absurd to say. The goal is to win. Bama's won. Then again, Texas at #9? Must be some leftover collateral from the whipping they laid on the Dawgs!
