Clemson University and WCCP are proud to announce that Memorial Stadium will be opening at 1 p.m Sunday for the NIT matchup between Clemson and Wichita State.
This will provide fans who may not logistically or financially be able to attend the game to join other Tiger fans to cheer on the Tigers.
Fans will be able to access the North Upper Deck and listen to the radio broadcast of the game via the WCCP app on their apple or android phone thanks in large part to the new 75 watt tower perched high atop Bowman Field . On the call will be "the voice of the Tigers" Don Munson with translation provided by Tim Bourett. Veteran radio personality and noted author of "How to beat Vegas" Walt Deptula will provide on the court updates while stationed directly in front and slightly below Head Coach Brad Brownell.
Admission is free with a 50/50 raffle at the gate. Drawing will be at halftime with the winner recieving the title of Mickey Plyler's "best friend in the world" pending winners ability to provide free tickets, travel, and accommodations for 1 football road trip.
