Tua thinks Trevor is great

May 26, 2019, 8:47 PM

Insight into the Alabama program and Tua is complementary of Trevor.

So - I KNOW he's just a kid, but still ... still.

Allow me to summarize for you:

00:00 - 01:00: I am not a leader and Alabama has a leadership void.
01:00 - 01:45: Our new, old OC isn't bringing anything to the table.
01:30 - 02:20: That's a lousy question, do you do this for a living?
02:20 - 02:40: I got a plan for a ... out a plan that, um ... that it will plan out this year.
02:40 - 03:25: Yeah, they all know me. It's cool. Wassup?
03:25 - 03:45: Finally made a comeback, yo! It seems to be what it seems it ... is a game.
03:45 - 04:00: Trevor is the bomb.
04:00 - 04:15: Who goes to the 2nd level of a double-decker bus? (pretty sure everyone does)
04:15 - 05:06: Forget what I said earlier ... no celebrities here, just a happy family. It's all for the kids. (actually, pretty good answers here)

“Clemson wasn’t that much better with Trevor Lawrence, if at all.”

Tua “turn-the-ball-over” wears Trevor Lawrence PJs.

Tua just wants to avoid daddy’s belt more than anything.

I still can’t believe his dad admitting to beating him over game performances didn’t get talked about more. I’m all for disciplining children (not with a belt, spoon, switch, etc. though) but over a game is just ridiculous.

Yeah, Tua is a good kid. Nice to hear a humble talent than a Johnny Manziel.

Youch! That was painfully awkward. I kind of felt sorry for Tua. In that context, I expected the interviewer to lob him a few softball questions for maybe a couple of mins. Instead, it was ~5 mins of total discomfort for Tua. The interviewer repeatedly puts him on the spot.

I'm a longtime Sark doubter. IMO, USC did UW a favor several years ago by saving UW the trouble of firing Sark. Anyway, Tua didn't seem genuinely enthused about his new OC.

I like Tua a lot better after that interview . He has a humble attitude for someone who gets so much attention .

Yes, it was telling what he said about sark, " He really didn't teach us anything we didn't already know." To me it sounds like, I already know all about the qb position. Stands in stark contrast to what Dabo, his staff, and players say, "Always learinig something new and always areas for improvement."

I also love how Dabo says, "This years team hasn't won a ballgame yet"
