It was an emotional day for dad. You love to watch your kids grow up, but sometimes you want it to slow down.

It was to UNC-Greensboro but we represented Clemson well. I had on a grey Tigers sweatshirt on with an orange Clemson hat. My wife laughed and said “are you really wearing that?”

My reply “Yep”

Ohhhhh just wait ‘til moving day. I dreaded it for 18 months.......and then it hurt worse than I ever imagined.

Took my son to college tours. Showed up at NC State with a hat. During the campus walking tour, the tour guide smarted off about a building sinking and it was designed by civil engineers from Clemson. My response back was "guess ya'll don't have a civil engineering program at State". SILENCE.

Moving day was harder for me than I thought it was going to be . Carrying that stuff up 3 flights of stairs at the Shoeboxes gave my back fits .

You may have to pack up the rest of the family and move to Colorado if you want to spend any significant time with her. Once settled in Colorado, it’s a hard place to leave.
