Too early 2018/19 All-American predictions

Posted: Apr 15, 2018 9:52 PM

- Clelin Ferrell, 1st team All-American (love his dedication to improvement & growing leadership)
- Christian Wilkins, 1st or 2nd team All-American (team leader, great communicator, hope to see CW come in at peak strength & physical condition as Dabo & NFL would request)
- Dexter Lawrence, 2nd team All-American (we all hope his foot's healthy and he's able to get in game shape. The rest will take care of itself)
- Austin Bryant, 3rd team All American (quiet leader, consistently improving to star quality)
- Kendall Joseph, Honorable Mention All-American, 1st team All-ACC (another quiet leader, will lead team in tackles)
- Trayvon Mullen, 3rd team All-American, 1st team All-ACC (big lockdown CB with speed, another star in making)
- AJ Terrell, 2nd team All-ACC, (most improved Clemson Defensive player)
- Isaiah Simmons, 3rd team All-ACC, (yet another budding star)

- Mitch Hyatt, 3rd team All-American, 1st team All-ACC, (makes sr year payoff with strength & conditioning work over summer)
- Justin Falcinelli, 1st team All-ACC (developing leader & critical for QB development)
- Travis ETN, 2nd team All-ACC (increases his core strength/balance & maintains speed)
- Tee Higgins, TBD based on QB position play (potential most improved Offensive player)
- Hunter Renfrow, TBD based on QB play (minimum 3rd team All-ACC)
- Sean Pollard, 3rd team All-ACC
- Milan Richard, Honorable mention All-ACC (hard worker, quiet leader, can improve team with some opportunities)
- Amari Rodgers, TBD based on QB play
- Trevor Lawrence, potential ACC ROY if starts at 5 or 6 ACC games
- Hunter Johnson, potential most improved if starts 5 or 6 games
- Derion Kendrick, wild card (depends on special teams/offense touches)

So much potential for 2018/19 season. The tide rises for all players on championship teams with lots of national and conference recognition. This should be the case for this year's team. Even Capt. Obvious can tell you that Defense is loaded, and a healthy Tre Lamar, K'von Wallace & Tanner Muse can also make some noise. As for Offense, so much depends on QB play but look for Tigers to sweep ACC with a couple of close games. Lots of potential special team beasts who can take the team to another level. And looking forward to seeing Tiger players who will come out of nowhere to excel. Go Tigers!
