He's talking about the areas surrounding the stadium . If you were forced to tailgate in a squalid, urine soaked industrial trainyard ? If you had to set up your awning next to a vagrant sleeping under a ratty discarded shipping blanket ?
If you're sitting on busted pallets and old grimy diesel engine blocks ...I dare say it might have the effect that it had on the crowd that day .
The shortage of water was due to the fans cleaning the smell of Olympia off of themselves...then they get those white towels handed to them as a complimentary wipe off/ then wave at supplementation.

is that you can easily recognize the chicken *&() when you hear it. For you youngsters on the board,this observation by Tony this morning is another form of the end around the coots ran back in the Lattimore days. When Marcus hurt his knee and was going to be out for the year, they actually claimed that the Offense would be improved BECAUSE THE DEFENSES COULD NOT KEY ON LATTIMORE! I guess their special teams and passing Offense will be better this week too.(Well, I realize they are playing La Tech, but, they do have to play them at home!)
