Time for this "Rivalry" to End

Playing the Coots adds no value to Clemson....

There is no upside at all, only a risk of losing to a very mediocre team with no hope of ever being much more.....

Their fans are about as low life as they come.....

They're an endless source of frustration to most Clemson fans.......

There is no fun at all anymore with this game.......

Just permanently replace them with Furman or The Citadel and we guarantee ending every season with a win......

It's time the SC Legislature rescind the law requiring they play every year and stop this nonsense.

Keep playing and beating them. It's fun to do.

Personally I prefer the thought of an easy win at the end of every year. I'm definitely enjoying all of our recent success against USCjr, NC State, FSU and GT.

Agree, tired of their ignorant, trash fan base

Replace them by rotating other power 5 teams that could create some interest. The only interest this game brings is to watch their moron fans cry when we beat their brains in every year.

At least Dabo needs to put his foot down and refuse to play them in the dead cockroach. Our game last year and the woman's basketball game where their fans spit and threw things on our players and Missouri's basketball team showed that the school doesn't have control of their students and something needs to be done about that. With the escapades that go on before and during the games who knows what kind of deceases our players could get from their students.

You are right. Some diseases are hard to cure too!

Sounds like your problem.

Sounds like you need to find different people to hang out with.

Sounds like you need to lighten up and have fun. Or if you can't, just go outside and rake the yard or something if the game isn't fun for you.

It isn't a law. However, I agree that U5C isn't our true football rival---we don't compete for the same recruits, they're bottom-feeders.

It just boils down to in-state bragging rights, nothing more.

I'd say Jawja or FSU (when they're good) are our true "football" rivals as we compete for the same talent and wins have meaningful impacts. A win vs. U5C means nothing as far as our season is concerned.

Well, their "Sex in the Parking Lot" team is by far the best in the nation.

Nope. Wrong. The coots I work with have been fun to be around. They talk nothing about football, but deep down inside they know we own them. And that makes me happy. And knowing they talked all that trash several years ago makes this stretch all the more better.

Heck no! I am 65 and personally want Clemson to dominate the GC crowd for at least the next decade. A fifteen plus win streak against the bottom feeder of the “Sorry Excuse Conference” would be glorious, especially for those of living in the Midlands!

Virtually nobody outside of this region understands the crap we Tiger fans endured over the chicken streak. It is currently so nice for Dabo and company to have largely shut down the annual GC “cheap talk.”

Go Tigers ??!!

No way, can you imagine the drivel we would have to listen to each year? Just like them saying they would win the ACC every year, blah blah blah. At least this way they can't say we would beat yall this year, blah blah blah. This way we can sprove to them every year and don't have to listen to that junk.
