Time Capsule Bimmer

Make of all this what you will, the fact is that BMW likely doesn't have an E38 7 Series in this condition, with "no signs of the passage of time" between the low miles and the air bubble.

Nnnnnggggghhhhhhh. That’s still the best looking 7-series

They ever made.

I’ve noticed a weird truism with time capsule cars.....they’re almost never the most desirable variant of the model.

Like this one...,gorgeous, and I don’t expect it to be the 12 cylinder 750iL, but at least option it with the sport package if you’re gonna keep it in museum shape!

Or if you see a 1 owner Porsche 944 with 5k miles, it’ll always be the automatic transmission. Or perhaps a cherry 1988 Mustang LX driven 8000 miles by a little old lady whose son was a professional detailed and waxed it monthly.....$100 says it’ll have the 4 cylinder.

Probably because they're almost always purchased

by non-drivers. A driver knows what to get and why.

If that goes for $63k, it’s a bargain,

And yep, I realize how ridiculous that sounds.

If I had anything halfway desirable up for auction at the moment, I’d take that SOB down so fast it’d make BaT’s head spin. There’s no way all the money is at the table on these auctions at the moment.
