This from the AJC there could be a slight chance rivalry

games being played. But they also question whether the season will actually take place. Hyere;s the quote that considers the possibility of rivalry being played.

"Two reasons for shifting to a conference-only schedule would be greater flexibility in scheduling and a uniform testing protocol among league members. Given that the Tech-UGA game is the last of the regular season for both teams, it’s conceivable that the game could be played if both teams were available and willing. Should a season be played, it appears that such scheduling fluidity may be instrumental."

I'll give 10 to 1 odds that if presented with the opportunity to play Clemson, the Coots would decline.

No matter, whupping number 7 is coming...and they know it.

I would take that bet. South Carolina is not going to "back

South Carolina is not going to "back out" on playing Clemson. If they have the choice, they will play. As would we.

This idea that Scar would use this as a good reason not to play us because they "are scared of us" or because they know there is a talent gap is just Clemson-blinders.

Yes, you would think that to be true. But by reading some of their forums, you can tell they hope the season especially our season doesn’t happen this year. They literally think it’s funny that a great team like ours might not get to play.

I don't know about that ...I was told by one of their finest

and brightest yesterday...that they would go 6-2 if they only played conference games...

Scott_Rhymer® has much more football savie than I, but to think the coot players (in their current state) are chomping at the bit to line up against Clemson is ludacris

They are an interesting group. A place where great coaches go to... you know. Poor Tanner was a great coach and they ain’t too happy with him.

The coaches, players, and fans will have zero to do

with South Carolina wanting to play or not to play Clemson.

That decision more than likely won't even rest with the 2 AD's.

Much higher forces will make it happen, or not.
