My goodness the penalties!

I think it’s up to 24 or 25 combined penalties.

Both teams are playing hard, but so many stoopid unsportsmanlike penalties.

Utah just got penalty #15 while I was typing.

Utah, for being a “Top 10” team, has NO o-line. If their qb wasn’t athletic and elusive, he’d be dead.

Utah just got their 16th penalty on a false start on a fg attempt.

Then USC immediately followed with an offsides with contact on the next attempt.

I need another beer.

^^^Perfect analysis. With UW, Utah, and Oregon all with 1 loss, the Pac12 is dead as far as the CFP goes. They have NO other teams to even consider, and 1 of those 3 had to go undefeated to make the CFP. I thought Utah was better than what I saw last night. Wow. I call it "Flag football".

Except Oregon's loss was largely expected.

Now, if they flop against Stanford, then slam the barn door shut and torch the PAC-12. Oregon can run the table, but may be a year away.

After watching that game, I don't think Utah should have

been ranked in the top 10. As stated in the OP - that Utah offensive line is nowhere near good enough to compete in the CFP and would get crushed by most top 5 teams.

The PAC-12 ref's have a reputation for being the worst in college football but there was a lot of undisciplined play by both USC and Utah last night. I think it was on Utah's last field goal that their the kicker ended up kicking the ball 3 times before it counted due to pre-snap penalties.
