If the illegal shift is a live ball foul then there is no runoff.

The only time it is run off is if the illegal shift is converted to a false start

How in the heck is an illegal shift not the same run off as the false start is beyond me. Makes you realize what idiots there are in the world.

So every team needs to practice the illegal shift when they need to stop the clock. Take note Dabo. We may need this loop hole one day.
