The only change I’d make to the playoff system is...

to keep the 4 team set up the same, but force the team that finishes 130th to give up their football program all together. This would give even the crapiest of teams, like Buffalo, SCU and UConn, something to play for. It would also eliminate most of the weak out of conference teams the SEC schedules each year, forcing them to play better competition. Culling the herd is a good thing.

but I also think the top 4 teams should be able to pick the top players from #130 to add to their rosters. They could hold an auction.
