I always dread this kind of weather situation. This has to favor the visiting team because the crowd and noise will not be as strong. This has to favor the team that wants to run the ball for obvious reasons. This favors the slower team because a muddy track will equal the speed and make both teams slow. This favors the underdog because it s an overall equalizer.
There is always a chance this type of weather can crop up and it can be costly. I wonder if Vegas had to issue an opening line knowing this weather, what would the line be. It looks like our game is the one squarely in the bulls eye regarding timing. If this were a noon game, we'b be in good shape. Even before the weather situation, I couldn't figure out why this was a 7:30 game. Now I really wish it was earlier. I have seen some reports where wind could be an issue, but I don't know. If we are trapped into a running contest with BC like Georgia was with Kentucky 0-0 at half, it could be real trouble.

We dominated GT in a deluge and beat ND in a hurricane. We’re good. Lots of rain experience, players and fans alike. Wear your rain gear and get pumped up!

We didn't win by a lot, but your point is well taken. We did throw for over 200 years and actually completed 22 of 33 passes, with Bryant at QB. So let's hope it doesn't completely equalize everything. Here are the stats from that game.
