The buzz in Colts training camp is D. Cain is beasting!

It's only 3 days into Colts camp, but the folks there are in disbelief that Deon Cain fell all the way to the 6th round. Apparently he's been a stud thus far the Colts are really excited with what he's been able to bring to the table. Don't be surprised if he earns a starting position right away opposite TY Hilton.

Listen to the first 5-6 minutes of this audio. Sounds like Cain is showing great urgency and hunger. Love to hear that about him.

I was honestly in disbelief that he fell to the sixth round. I honestly figured, second, third round at worst.

Nobody ever really covered the guy. He was still a little raw around the edges because he was converting from QB and he did have some unfortunate drops but Cain was always a weapon. I also didn't think he was a true 9 - I honestly thought he belonged at the 2 getting a lot more touches - but the problem was his sidekick McCloud was also a 2, so Cain maybe wasn't able to be put in the best spot for him at Clemson. It also didn't help that Clemson went very conservative and ball-control on O the year he finally won a starting gig.

In the NFL, he will likely be a flanker, not a boundary receiver...and I think that suits him a heckuva lot better.

He's a guy you want with the ball in his hands as much as possible, IMHO.
