yet their TV ratings continue to slide in comparison to college football. It may be time for the NFL to bite the bullet give the fans what they want and go with the winning formula that is proven.

If pigs are so smart, why do 66% of them use weak and inferior materials during construction?

imagine the NFL with a 4 team playoff

so many teams would be eliminated and be playing meaningless games from much earlier in the season.

also NFL ratings still swamp college football overall

is just fine.... 4 division winners and 2 wildcards.. 12 teams out of 32 and considering the NFL is the best of the best, that is a fair playoff system. Teams are at least somewhat close in talent levels in the top 12 teams.

I am not anywhere near as big a fan of pro football as college, but their playoffs are set up nicely and leaves many teams fighting for those last wildcard spots most years.

Maybe the CFP champion should get one of those wildcard

I mean, how would Tom Brady feel going up against our Dline (my guess, he would not be excited lol)

Wow, just looked at TV ratings....

There have been 32 regular season NFL games this season (14 weeks in) that have higher ratings than the highest rated CFB game this season (Bama-UGA).

Our highest rated game this year had less viewers than 4 Pre-Season NFL games.

Highest rated NFL game - 25.12 Millions viewers

Our highest rated game - 4.475 Million viewers

A 20k stadium capacity difference isn't the reason.

A larger playoff system isn’t the reason either***

Exactly. I personally enjoy college football more, but I think a lot of people see headlines of rating declining and just assume people are barely watching the NFL anymore.
