At fan day Amari said he will be ready to go in October. As the article states, that’s impressive!

Six month turn around is incredible!! It’s crazy how far medicine has come in the past few years. Torn ACL used to take 12 months Atleast then it’s turned into 9-12 months and now crazy 6 months?!?!? Insane!

Many times there is additional damage beyond the ACL. Yes, the ACL is the slowest to heal, but recovery can be more complex if there is additional damage: patellar, MCL, meniscus, etc. So while an ACL tear is not a "simple" injury, if there is no additional damage it can be a "simple" recovery.

My daughter had 3 tears including her ACL in 2016, and her recovery was just about what you quoted. And because of reinjuring the meniscus during recovery, she still has a slight limp.

Glad Amari is coming along nicely.
