No Ben Batson? Guess this means “The Legend of Hunter Renfrow” continues if we lose Lawrence and Brice during the game!

We are going to have to outscore people next year?

Oct 23, 2018, 10:29 AM

Even Brent Venables, the God of reloading, is going to have some issues replacing who we are losing next year.

3 Starting DTs (I include Huggins)
2 starting DEs
All 3 Mike LBs on the current depth chart
1 and 2 on the depth chart Will Linebackers
Kvon Wallace and maybe Tanner Muse (Both safeties)
Trayvon Mullen and Mark Fields (2 of our 3 "starting" CBs.

I know we have some dudes coming back, but good lord that may be an all-time record for talent leaving at once on one side of the ball.

I know we will be fine at DE, and we have some great talent at CB and I know we have reloaded in some previously crazy situations.... but good lord. Not like this. We better win the natty this year. ( I said that last time)

Our starters will be fine next year. XT alone will make our 1st team dline a force. Shaq Smith looks like he is starting to come around with Skalski and Chad Smith still being solid players at mike. I think Sheridan Jones and Andrew Booth are immediate contributors in the secondary.

We'll have to outscore a few teams but I still see us having a top 15 defense.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.
