The ACC this year is hands down the most competitive conference in the county. In addition, this years ACC teams were probably the best collection of college soccer teams ever in the ACC and could be argued as the best collection of soccer teams in U.S. college history.

ACC Soccer exceeds the level of ACC basketball...

for those who don't follow soccer.
Dean Smith once stated the ACC wasn't a basketball conference, it was a soccer conference.
(he was talking about woman's soccer at the time but the men's game in the ACC is untouchable top to bottom).

and UK play in CUSA(or maybe UK plays in another). Does it matter? The ACC is the premier soccer conference in the country. They have 4 legit National tittle contenders this year alone and sent like 10 to the tourney last time. There are probably only 4-5 other teams total on the level of the ACCs top 4.

Only SC and UK have men’s programs from SEC

And yes they play in the CUSA.
The Big 12 also doesn’t sponsor men’s soccer and only West Virginia has a team.
The Big Ten has a few elite programs like Indiana and Maryland. And a few other decent ones like Michigan State, northwestern.
Pac 12 is solid in soccer but only half the programs have a team.
The Big East has good programs. Georgetown won the national title last year.
Men’s soccer is the sport where the small schools can excel best. Small northeast, southern and western programs have had big success over the years. UC Santa Bárbara won a national title in 2006. Schools in the Ivy League, horizon, southern etc have good programs.
