Ellie was sweet but a little "uppity" at times. Still for

Barney to hook up with her would be another case of out-punting his coverage. Barney was the man though. Wish he's stayed on for several more years because imo he made the show.

We should just steal their National Championship sign.

Sorry, yeah, that won't work.

But we have several so I guess we should share. Kind of like hand me downs to your little brother.

It's not as if someone stole the national championships.

It's just a sign.

I suggest the cops check out Alabama and UCF. They are always claiming Championships that don't belong to them.

If memory serves, sometime after the Howard's Rock vandalism case, was was arrested again for assaulting a female.

I'll hold out for the "1981, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020" edition. Will be quite the conversation piece in my bar.

We need to install security cameras

We'll just have to get another one, perhaps next January

Re: TNET: Clemson National Championship sign stolen

LOL. The Clemson police department honestly thinks this may end up at a "local pawn shop"? ;) In all seriousness, why is this bad news? We will need a new sign in mid January any way.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg

I would say check Carolina Jackpot’s trailer, BUT...

He barely fits in his Corolla. I don’t think there’s anyway he and that sign fit in the car at the same time.

I guess he coulda tied it to the roof? He seems more like the stick your arm out the window and hold it down while ya drive kinda guy.

This is WAAAAYYYYY different than defiling Howard’s Rock.

Agree. I doubt they'll spend much time investigating this. The rock is irreplaceable. This, on the other hand, is equivalent to stealing chicken from the grocery store.

I'm really surprised that this is the only NC sign that has come up missing, and especially the ones out on our highways!!! This is 2019, times are very hard out in the world for a lot of folks, and there are thieves among those having a hard time making it week to week. So if there are things out in the open of any value, people's mentality is to survive, and if things like a sign is a easy get, somebody is going to get it and sell it. Those NC signs out on the road ways have lasted a lot longer than I thought they would, and only a few months was the maximum time I gave them before they come up missing!!!

We can't completely stop hard core thieves from stealing what is ours that some of us have to make sacrifices to get, and I might not can stop them from taking some of the valuable that I have, but I'm not going to make it easy for them steal, and they have no idea the absolute dangerous risk they take when they try and steal what I have bc I promise I will fire their A S S up if I catch them, and I never sleep at night, and I only sleep a few hours in the day, plus I have a big ole Rott that makes his rounds looking out the openings that I leave for him at the bottom of my blinds. If I have anything those thieves want, I hope they said goodbye to their loved ones before they left to come and steal what I own, bc if I catch them, when I call the police, I'ma tell them to bring a body bag with them when they come to investigate!!!

It's over in Johnstone, if it still exists, or on a frat boys wall at his apartment! Now that this gets out, he won't be sleeping well! Can't lie, my crowd while at Clemson did crap like that, never me though! ?? Go Tigers!!!

Check campus of the Coots as will be the only way they get a football championship sign

Did I just see it on "American Pickers"?

This isn't going on eBay....

Posted: Nov 19, 2019 11:08 AM

This is going in some guys man cave for the next 30 years.

I was 18 when I found my "last name" on a street sign and lifted it with some buddies. I'm 38 now and it still resides on my office wall.

This a shame; what a tragedy would be was if someone stole

Posted: Nov 19, 2019 11:16 AM

the Coots' 1969 conference championship sign. At least in our case, we will win another one, which will create a logical opportunity to replace the stolen one. Can you imagine old Ray Tanner strolling into a sign shop and saying "I would like to order a 1969 ACC Champs sign?" LOL
