That's not a really big move, but it has "budged." I wonder if perhaps the casinos are fine with more money being placed on Bama. I know many say that Vegas always wants the money split 50/50, but i kind of doubt that's true. Getting the money 50/50 may minimize house risk, but it doesn't necessarily maximize potential profits.

The other potential factor here is that a lot of the big money bets were reportedly placed on Bama and placed early. If you have a good many big players out there that took Bama -1 and then the bookies move the line all the way out to like ~5 points, some of those same guys might jump on Clemson +5 and play the middle.

8times the bets. Not the total money. Every south Alabama idgit is putting his weekly beer money on the game, but the sharps are betting big on the Tigers. The total money is even.

I'm not really concerned about the odds, the trends, or the picks, as long as Clemson has
one more point at the 00.00 mark, I'm good.
If not baseball season( college) can't come soon enough.
