The year was 1945, and the Tigers had plenty of bulletin board material against Tech

Bulletin board material goes a long way in college football. Even in 1945. What happened in 1945 between Georgia Tech and Clemson? What did legendary coach Frank Howard say about the game? Full Story »

Actually, Dook looks pretty good this year

They keep it up, it’s gonna be quite the “warm-up” before the big Fighting Chickens game.

Wasn't the game played in Atlanta every year until 1974?

My mom hadn't even met my dad yet in 1945. She was actually still married to her first husband that died from Diabetes. For me, 1945 was a long time ago bc, I was born in 1952, and I know that was a long time ago. Go Tigers in 2018, and this day will be a long time ago for our in the future Tiger fans, Go Tigers, beat GT in 2018!!!

I totally think your comment is uncalled for. I’m aware of what Sam did. However, your comment is out of place and I’m calling you out. Take the moment down!

Only Coach Howard could interfere with a world war to play a football game! I’m kidding of course but all of you who didn’t have the chance to be around this character missed out on something big. He was no Dabo but he helped put my school on the map. Go Tigers
