So, an exceptional athlete in baseball, football and a THREE YEAR State Champion in wrestling? Can he draw, design... and is he going to major in Architecture, too? I mean, talk about a renaissance man! I wrestled in high school (in upstate NY, where the wrestling animals are...), and came to Clemson in Architecture and have had a great career in that. But to play in three demanding sports through high school and earn a scholarship with a major program is just crazy.
I had a Physics professor at Clemson, who said that "you know, there are people who run marathons, people who play football and people who swim the English Channel, etc., but only a fool plays baseball." He was referring, of course, to the strength, toughness and conditioning required to play 162 games of baseball a year in the majors. Baseball is a (heck) of a lot tougher sport than most people realize.
