I admit to not being an expert on nfl etc but it sounds odd to me

That Justyn Ross moving to slot would be a good career move. Please explain. Probably something obvious that I don’t understand. I thought him more a pure wideout.

I thought the same thing only because of his neck status. To me the slot is a much more violent position. I mean dang that hit renfrow took at the end of last season with the raiders that knocked him out looked horrible. But we don’t really know anything about his health or progress and can only hope doctors wouldn’t allow him to be in an unsafe situation so hopefully he excels. Maybe there’s a plan to attack the middle more this year and Ross has proved his hands and body control are exceptional. We shall see! I’m so pumped!

Yeah, when I suggested it, I got laughed at. There was a lot of discussion over the down period in January. Sounds like Dabo thinks we have quite a few that could play slot.
I haven't given up on ajou ajou in the slot. He's so physical.

It's a horrible career move, but apparently we didn't sign

the diverse types of WRs we needed to actually run our offense and just kept signing 6'4" dudes, so we have to plug them in where they don't belong(like we unsuccessfully tried with Overton) because they know the plays better than the underclassmen...Ross is a 9 guy, he didn't fare as well at the Field position and I doubt it will be much better in the slot, but it is what it is...Hopefully he doesn't get banged up again running screens and short routes like he did running the Field

Agree, would like to get more pointed questions asked from the writers. Sounds like we'll know more after Sat.

would be wrapping up but not taking the man to the ground. Skelly is probably short for skeleton, which would be more like 2 hand touch, just showing the coaches you are where you are supposed to be based on the play that is called.
