We all want to see super years for our Super Seniors! Potentially, the best Defensive ever at Clemson! They have to prove it on the field... Go Tigers, Beat Georgia!

I wonder how these numbers compare to other schools?

So we have 6 "super seniors" that are coming back, I guess on defense. I wonder how this compares to other schools like Alabama, Ohio State, ND, etc? Will this give us a significant advantage over other top teams to have this many older/experienced guys coming back, or will everyone pretty much be in the same boat?

Wonder if they get better or if hit ceiling. Wonder if sport psychologist can help Slalski stay in our toughest games. Wonder if younger players could be better.

I could see a lot of kids from ND coming back as they were a senior heavy team. I don't know them well eough to tell if that is true culturally, but I could see it more for them than the others.
Bama and OSU have little to no interest in academics or graduating kids, OSU, specially. They are factories.
Experience helps overall. There is a lot of value off-the-field for the lockerroom leaders. I think the experience factor helped ND a lot this year and even with their home game. You get consistency from the older guys that is rarer from the young guys... even if the ceiling might be lower.

Love some Skalski! Still these returning starters have no shot to become the best Clemson Defense ever or IMHO a great Defense, these are 5th and 6th year players coming back from Clemson’s most average Defense in several years. And some are slow and MIA in pass coverage. The younger faster stars will lose reps, some will lose most of theIr playing time this season, and some will transfer. It’s a more of a trade-off than a bonanza in my eyes, but who would not want to come back to Clemson every year if college eligible and not NFL bound? Beating UGA on 9/4 will be a fun start to a fun season.

Yes, interesting perspective. Hopefully wrong about the transfers. You would think we're in a great position to rotate them more so than other positions.

I personally believe that with all the seniors choosing to come back for a 5th-6th year is the reason for some that chosen the transfer portal, and I could be wrong, but I just don't think so!!!!
