Sugar Bowl tickets on Tigernet are ridiculous...

Dec 15, 2017, 7:18 PM

The tickets are slowly dropping towards face value. I am waiting on one person to decide. If they say no then I will sell for face value plus application fee. People are holding out for Atlanta and wondering what a ticket for that may cost. Tiger fans have also spent a lot the last two years. I have two tickets row 9 section 647. Tmail if interested.

I find the low price on a New Year's Day Playoff Game in New Orleans between Clemson and Alabama amazing. I also found it way odd that the day IPTAY tickets were assigned, a great many pairs of tickets on the Clemson side of the field in the upper deck suddenly went on sale online. It looks to me like many long term season ticket holders at Clemson have seen all the playoff games they wish or can afford to see live in a 3 year span.

I could understand cashing in tickets for cash if the tickets were going for a grand or two. I cannot understand so many fans offering their IPTAY tickets for sale for $50-$100 over face value.

If that is the case, it sounds like

A bunch of people thought they could profit on the semis to pay for the final- not sure why as semi tix have always been around face or less in other years. Also, I wonder if a lot of them maybe didn't look at the calendar and assumed the game was NYE vs NYD.

^^^^yep most are trying to help pay for Atlanta

But that ain't happening especially if it were to be Clemson and UGA.

well its hilarious, cause they gonna lose their face value and get stuck with the ticket, cause going to new orleans isn't cheap by no means, so all these people who bought just to sell, i hope they lose, cause national championship tickets wont get any lower , i didn't make the cut for national championship tickets this year. sucks but not paying 2000 to watch no football game, I've spent way to much the last two years going to the playoffs and finals.
