This amateur golfer was playing over the pond at Carnoustie, which is one of the tougher tracks in the British Open rotation. Rebuffing his old Irish caddie's attempts at trying to help him, he was finding out just how tough it was.
After a few holes, in exasperation, he finally asked the caddie, "What would you recommend on this shot?" The caddie replied laconically, "I don't know, what game are you playing?"
Now ticked off, the golfer said, "You have got to be the world's worst caddie!" To which, without missing a beat, the caddie replied, "Nay Laddie, that would be WAY too much of a coincidence!"
