Sometimes It's Ok to be a 96+ Kid

Yesterday morning was a rainy day in Clemson and it affected our church attendance substantially. Heck, I could have sat almost anywhere and not have to worry about sitting in someone's favorite spot. During our regular service, our Director of Children's Ministry has a short sermon for the small children. When she went forward yesterday and invited the children to come down to the altar, there was not one small child in the congregation. Not wanting her to be there with no children, I decided, "why not". About the time I arose, our Senior Minister joined her, so I was the second child to join her. You know, it's little things like that that make life a fun event.
